Dress Code? - Business casual for teen

I asked my employer about the dress code and he said it is 'business casual'. Nothing else specific or pertinent to the weather.

So I just want some advice. Also, I'm a 19 year old female.

I assume knee length skirts are fine. Should I wear pantyhose/ stockings?

What is appropriate for shirts? I know not to wear sleeveless but are short sleeves fine?

Any taboos?
I read some where that yellow and white are not ok.

Any suggestions would be great

THANKS!

business casual - you don't need to wear a jacket. wear a dress, trousers or skirt w/shirt (short/long). its too hot to wear panty hose. yellow and white are fine.

trousers or knee length-ish skirts, you can wear shortsleeve or sleeveless shirts, but you prob want a shawl/cardy for the office cos the a/c gets cold.

and, it really depends on your office environment too, some of the hk girls in hk wear, what i consider not work-suitable stuff and they seem to get away with it.

Thanks for the advice

Now I just need to get color-coordinating skills and then go shopping.
