Hi everybody,
I will be relocate in Hong Kong soon and my family is in the mainland. Since the relocation is not a long term thing,about 3 months, I would like to know how can I call back to the mainland, by cell phone or by the fixed line in the room.
If you recommend cell phone, what should I do upon arrival, I should sign a contract or just by a sim card. and what's the rate for calling back to china?
On the other hand, is it economic if I buy some kind of IP card and use the fixed line in my room to call back?
Anyway, the rate and the connection quality are my concerns. Would you give me some advice and recommend any suitable cards?

You should go to Mongkok to check out at some telecommunications shops to see which call card is the best fit for you.

So buying a sim card and calling back by cell phone costs really reasonable price in HK. Do I have much choice of the sim card and different rates?
