It would be good if a big group of geoexpat-England (world cup etc) fans could watch the game together on a big screen.
Has there been a lot of interest for the England games?

Also for the England game is there cover charge / minimum spending? (minimum spending not a problem unless their drinks taste awful)

Please put me down for The England game on Sat
- unless someone else can find a better venue in which case I might defect.

RN amd all the nuimbers
I got you down for England game Saturday, tables are reserved from 8p.m at Al's Diner in LKF. Not sure if you've been there before but we've got the two tables by the open screen door facing the bar --> behind you is d'Aguilar Street and the overflow area outside. So if more than 10 people show up, there should be enough standing room. That's one reason why I chose that place. There is no minimum spend but they'd appreciate it if those of us seated ordered some food there since they're holding the tables with the best view of the big screen for us. Key is to show up early; it may be difficult to hold empty chairs up until 9p.m. when there's a crowd of people, who have to stand. There's only so many times one can say 'Sorry mate, this seat's reserved'.

You can put me down for the England match... I have a feeling it's all going to be a bit mad in LKF...

Signing up to watch the WC with us at Skidz

Hi everyone, the poll has now closed but no matter. You can continue to sign-up for all of the events listed in the poll by posting a reply in this thread or by sending me a PM.

I noticed that at least two persons voted anonymously in the poll; if you want me to guarantee a seat for you, please let me know who you are.

We have reserved up to 12 seats every evening and 15 seats on Fridays. At present, there are seats available for all of the events except for the England match on Saturday. So come out and join in the fun; the Football WorldCup comes around only every four years !!!
