Hi - I was wondering whether anybody knows where I can get a High Court gown (for lawyers) made. I need to get one for a NZ lawyer, so I'm not sure what the equivalent is in Hong Kong. I know they still wear them in HK though.

No clue where you'd get the wigs and gowns though. I'd probably call the court / ballifs office or a fellow lawyer or the bar association? ( http://www.hkba.org/contacts/index.html )

Do they seriously wear that crap in high court? Oh man they look like complete clowns! lol

Yep they do. And atleast in London you have different wigs and different robs for different ranks....
