I am a newbie to HK. Can someone tell me the travel time from Merton to Pacific Place. I am guessing that Pacific Place is not far from Central or IFC which has been already mentioned in other threads and it would take around 25mins at peak hrs. Which buses run in this route?

Also, what is the difference between mini-vans and the regular buses??? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

citybus 1, 5, 5B, 10 all $3.40 per journey. merton to pp by tram for $2 is about 30 mins.

buses are typically doubledeck. minibuses come in green or red roof and carry 16 passengers. green is government they get salary and benefits and operate to a timetable but red is private and they depart usually when the minibus is full for more profit.

minibuses very rarely have stop buttons so you call out where you want to get off. most red minibuses only accept cash, they give change and run 24 hours. buses accept octupus or cash but they dont give change.
