American brands

Hey,

I've been here a while but I haven't seen any Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister.. or just those American teenage brands anywhere. Any ideas where it might be available in HK?

Ordering online is my last resort.

Thanks!

you can get factory returns/fake/destroyed in Fa Yuen street Prince Edward, you can come up with some decent clothing if you go through every shop in that street.

I think there's an Applecrumble and Felch shop in Tai Koo Place. Otherwise you don't see much preppy clothing in HK. Like, go figure!

fa yuen street

hey bloated egos,

i have a question about fa yuen street.
i hear from some ppl before that there are shops selling factory returns or similar items. but it seems to me that all of them are fakes.

do you (or anybody else) know any more information or could recommend any specific shop selling authentic items?

thx,
sandra

i think there are both fake and genuine samples if you can spot which is fake then probably you can tell which is genuine. like the red monkey company and evisu jeans. the genuine sell for $2,000 up and the fake $250. with these jeans just looking at the fake you can spot the differences in quality. mizuno seems to be genuine as the tags are there and the quality is the same as you would get at sogo.

hi orrock,

im quite sure that all of these shops sell fakes.
once i bought some emily the strange shirts there and sold them on ebay.
i got trouble with the company as they explained to me that they never produce red or pink shirts with these logos.
so its obvious that these are fakes.

im sure the other brands are the same case.

i checked out on fa yuen street abt 2 weeks ago, and it had both fake & the real products, but very rarely can you find an original product in good condition it needs a lot of digging, i was lucky to find an American Eagle shirt in great condition, i got it home and tried it but unfortunately it did not fit me, i put it up on my eBay and am getting pretty decent bidders.

how do you distinguish between authentic and fakes?
for most people its impossible to see the difference as you need to know the real ones in detail.

anyone has any ideas?
