SalseroHK - do you mind if I ask what the process of getting your MPF released was? what did you do and how long did it take?

You need to get the letter of release from the IRD to prove you have paid all your taxes. You send this letter to the company who is admistering your MPF account (in my case a private insurance company) and then it took them 5 weeks to deposit the MPF money in my account.
