I want to organize a gathering to do some sports, like hiking, go fishing, tennis something, we need more exercises, office ladies!

My husband is moving in 4 weeks and i will be following with our 2 kids once he has sorted accomodation,schools and stuff.We've got to find somewhere in new terr. as he's working somewhere on mainland? Will this be far from where you ladies meet up as I would love to join you when I get there.Where would be a good place with lots of facilities for a 10 and 11 year old, oh and a cat?Any ideas, so I can make sure my hubby checks them out?Im 32 and wont have a job to start with so really worried I will get lonely/bored.Think I will be over end of March.Now I really sound like a sad, desperate brit!

Don't worry about coming out to the city to meet us. HK is not very big. From the New Territories to Central might probably take around 45 mins to an hour. Have you got school for your kids sorted out? Do you know whereabouts are you looking to live? I live in Park Island. It's on Ma Wan, an island in the New Territories. There's 3 swimming pools, playgrounds and lots of space for your kids to run around and ride bikes. But I'm not sure how will it be like commuting for your husband and kids.

No idea really where we'll be, husband did go there a few weeks ago and was shown some appartments, he mentioned constellatoin cove? Thought that was better for kids, but where you are sounds good....very active children!! Will tell him to check it out, thanks. Just had shipping company round, now its starting to feel 'real'!! what am I letting myself in for?! Have you been there long?
