I am hunting for a place to stay now and visited GP, Merton and Manhattan Height.

For GP, great view, super nice gym, spa and club house, air quality is definitely better, far if you work in Central, 3 minutes walk to MTR station, 17 minutes to Central MTR station and another 8-10 minutes walk if you work in IFC buildings. Not many alternative commuting vehicle to choose from, bus will take one hour to get to Central, MTR is the best shot.

For Merton and Manhattan height, new and nice place but not as nice as GP, smaller flat, so so gym facility. Neighborhood is less attractive than GP. But its very close to Central, 5-10 minutes taxi.

Prices in these places are similar. I probab;y will go to Merton, convinience beats anything else.

errr. not sure how u came to that conclusion.
i leave home every morning at 7.50am, reaches the busstop at 8.00 after a slow stroll and waiting for the elevator.
the bus reaches me at 8.05, and i reach admiraty MTR at 8.25, 20 mins ride.

if you are working in IFC then do the olympic city thingy. its more convenient. i did not go there because i'd have to change a train to get to work and the walk the pack MTR station.

Hi all,

I'm interested in renting a flat in Grand promenade. Any opportunities here?

Just drop by one of the many real estate agents along Tai Hong Street, next to the building. Always something available.

historical sales / lease info on GP
http://www.centadata.com/eptest.aspx...D&info=&page=0

# for their GP branch is 2567 1858, location should be very close next to the complex

i dont think GP offers serviced apartment. the rent you see on that page (from hkd 23 to 40 / sq ft) includes agent commissions but i think it varies for other items like utilities or furnishings.

There are no serviced apartments in GP that I am aware of. There is no onsite agent - one single agent for the whole building. You will have to go into the rental agents on the other side of the road. Some have the same listings as others, some have unique listings. The best idea is to tell them specifically what you want and then they can tell you what they have around that area/price.

There are some fully funished apartments, but not as many as unfurnished. All apartments come with a fridge and washer/dryer. Does not include all club facilities - you have to pay for the gym and some other things.

Hope this helps.

Question Shout out to anyone at the Grande Promenade!

Hi There,

I am moving to HK at the end of the month and am strongly considering the Grande Promenade.

I'm a bit worried I may be a little isolated given it' further out and may be too local for me being an Aussie (not born, but bread).

I'll be working at Admiralty and also want to know how long it wouold take by bus.

Any expats in or around GP?

Anne

GP

I thought of moving to a more water sports oriented place since I miss my boat, kayak and houseboat in SF Bay but haven't come up with a solution. GP's great- convient, tons things to do, good mix of locals and expats and good management. The bonus for me is many tennis courts and good running/walking tracks.
Good luck.
