Need Advice on Relocating to HK

Hi all,
I am looking to relocate to Hong Kong hopefully by the fall.I am having a hard time finding a job there so therefore I would need a sponsor from a company.Mind you, I have a relative residing in Hong Kong.My questions are (1)Can my relative sponsor me? (2)Can I enter as a visitor and look for a job then and apply for a work visa afterwards if I find a job then? (3)Are there any other way around as to how I can extend my stay of 3 months?

(1)Can my relative sponsor me?

How are they related to you? In most cases this is unlikely.

(2)Can I enter as a visitor and look for a job then and apply for a work visa afterwards if I find a job then?

This is possible but the immigration department will ask you why you did not apply before you came to Hong Kong.

(3)Are there any other way around as to how I can extend my stay of 3 months?

You can leave Hong Kong and then come back for another 3 months or if in special cases you may be granted a prolonged visitors visa.

Hi, how do I go about buying my own sponsorhip? Are you sure it's US$5000? Will that be an investment or Will I be able to get the $5000 back?

hello

An Investment Visa is where you establish a business in Hong Kong and then apply for an investment visa for that company.

The policy you are thinking off can be located here:
