Hi,
been reading all your threads with interest. Got any ideas where a newly single 37 year old can hang out without feeling too conspicuous?!

Apart from LKF, Wanchai (where I enjoy going with my friends) where can I meet new people or find other 'oldies' to join for cinema, nights out etc?

though new to hkg, i must say that las fri i was at Cavern and i did not find an age bar there.. u dont have to feel that way.. just go with the flow... I am in the same boat as u ...

Chambers and other professional groups are great for networking with the 35+ crowd.

Having said that ... I know atleast a dozen or so 35+ singles from our parties, if you can wait till mid July.

Theres no barrier to age at all so don't worry too much about it.
I'm 34 and quite a bit older than some of the other party animals here but it doesn't matter to me or them, You're as old as you feel as they say.

There are a few of us that prefer cinema trips and the like myself included so no doubt something will be planned soon.

As soon as the weather perks up a bit I'll probably be arranging a few things that doesn't involve heavy drinking/karaoke/dancing etc!

There are a few of us more ... I was going to say "mature", but no, lets stick with "advanced" ones lurking around. And as everyone says, every event here attracts a huge mix.
