Giving things to charity

Does anyone know of a good will or other charity in Hong Kong, where you can donate your used goods?

Also, most of the sites listed here will take donations in goods or money.

What kind of things are you hoping to donate?

Furniture, computers and clothing can be donated to different organisations.

If you are donating a huge amount of goods and you might want to claim some tax-free income in the future, remember to get a receipt from the oraganisation. The receipt should list item by item of what you donated.

Of course, since income taxes in Hong Kong are mostly 13 to 15 % (maximum 18%) most people do not care about claiming their donations on their taxes. But if you hire a tax agent to do your taxes, might as well give them the receipts too.
