| Giving things to charity Does anyone know of a good will or other charity in Hong Kong, where you can donate your used goods? |

| What kind of things are you hoping to donate? Furniture, computers and clothing can be donated to different organisations. If you are donating a huge amount of goods and you might want to claim some tax-free income in the future, remember to get a receipt from the oraganisation. The receipt should list item by item of what you donated. Of course, since income taxes in Hong Kong are mostly 13 to 15 % (maximum 18%) most people do not care about claiming their donations on their taxes. But if you hire a tax agent to do your taxes, might as well give them the receipts too. |
