Headhunters in Asia

Some headhunters operate on retainment basis but most do not. Can we create a list of hh in those two categories? I start with the following. Let me know if you agree with my opinion.

Retainment Basis:
Huxley Finance (London)
Heidrick Struggles
Spencer Stuart

Non-retainment Basis:
Manpower
Hudson
Ambition
Michael page
Morgan McKinley

Can someone continue to fill in the list?

When I went there, those agents asked me all kinds of stupid question... for example" Please tell me ur hobby in English?" in order to c can u speak English or not, they also asked me to take typing exam and excel exam. Even though my CV showed that I grad at good fashion school and worked at couple fashion companies, especially in marketin field, those agent still askin me if I never mind to go for different field......anyway.....those agent are super retarded and crazy, ont ever got here!!!!! u will waste ur time for sure

Not sure what you're trying to achieve with the list. Whether the HH is working on a retainer is irrelevant from the employee's perspective. Retainment simply means that the employing company pays the HH before/as they are finding candidates e.g. 1/3 on issue of a job spec, 1/3 at delivery of suitable candidates and the final 1/3 at employment contract signing. Compare this to typical recruitment which is purely based on success contigency, once again paid by the employing company. Although companies like Hudson, RW, MP, MM etc typically do the latter it's not uncommon for them to have a retained contract for certain searches. A better list would be high end "HH" versus run of the mill meat market volume "recruiters". Your list correctly identifies this
