I just moved to HK from Switzerland two weeks ago and heard this was the place to get things started. How does one begin in this concrete jungle?

Such an open question that can be answered in so many ways, depending of what you are looking for in this intense jungle.
Be more specific, and this Dutch newby might be able to give you ideas, or share them since I am only 1 month more HK senior then you.

Let the forum know, and for sure you have answers before you know it.

I myself look for a job (HR/ Recruitment) and to meet new people to spend lunch and drinks with either beach or hike activities.

Thanks for your reply and excuse my vagueness.

In a nutshell, I have a home + job but little else outside these walls. In a nutshell,
I'm looking to meet some new peops over a drink, dinner, or trekking along a HKG
trail. I'm flexible and eager anticipating a move away from my quiet routine.
