Are there any good online computer stores in HK? I know places like newegg.com or the likes can probably ship to HK..but are there any local shops that have an extensive online shop set up?

Not really .. what sort of stuff are you looking for? Or just browsing for prices?

trying to build a couple of machines - a windows box for home/gaming, and a linux box for work.

i've been to both the MK/WC computer centers - the prices are alright, but i hate it when i get mobbed by the sales people.

For what it's worth, if you can read Chinese - or are willing to guess a bit - HKGolden has somewhat up-to-date prices for hardware on the streets, so you can at least plan what you're going to buy and how much you expect to pay from a nice dry airconditioned office Obviously, the prices can differ once you get out there, depending on how up-to-date they are and how good a haggler you are, but it's a start...

yeah, i've been looking at that for a while now - it's just that i'd much rather buy it online so i can get it over with, because i really hate walking through the computer centers..

it's nice when people in a store notice that you are there and try to offer help - but it's a whole different story when they pretty much go "in your face" style with EVERYTHING that you pick up in a store. even after you tell them to leave you alone, or with earphones on (music optional)...this is one thing i really can't stand in HK.

I strive to beat HK prices, check my list against PC Market or HKgolden.com. Find anything cheaper in HK and I'll beat it.
