| What's MsDirectinput? The only problems my Spybot can't fix are "Log, MsDirectinput,Windows Explorer". I assume these are normal things. Can anyone explain what they are, esp Ms Directinput. My husband seems to have never heard of it. Thanks.   |

| Chances are .. its spyware that takes over the keyboard / mouse etc. Download one of these versions http://www.geoexpat.com/forum/announcement31.html And see if it detects it... make sure you allow it to download the latest web updates before you do a scan. |

| Thanks very much, KIA. Oh dear, the Msdirectinput has been there for a long time, and I thought it was harmless because the spybot says "no immediate threat". I saw your announcement on free Panda trial version. Will it expire and does it mean I have to remove my Spybot and Mccafee Antivirus and Zonealarm etc before I can install it? But I can't go without these.  Sorry to keep on posting my question here but I'll post my new threads on the new forum, since registering takes time. |
