Need advice on moving/relocation belonging to Hongkong

Yes I am confirmed to come to Hongkong and will be start working on 12 June 2006. I will get relocation package but here is the problem that I have:

My family will only be moving from Indonesia to Hongkong in end of this year but I will need to move from Singapore to Hongkong mid June and will only get small room (shared room) until my family arrive. Therefore I will have plenty of things that I cannot fit into my room for several months (since all my belonging are in Singapore) until I can find bigger place in the end of the year.

Do you know whether the relocation company will able to provide the storage for let say couple of months and do you know approximately how much does it cost? I will really need any advice & experience from you guys.

Might be cheaper to use a storage space here in HK.

On the other hand if the movers include the cost of storage and then moving to your new flat, it might work out slightly cheaper. Depends on how much stuff you have .. anything that approaches a full container is best dealt with by the moving company.

Yeah go with a storeage company rather than sticking with the relo company. Anything beyond a "reasonable" 2/3 week period for storeage and the relo cos fees will be extortionate.
