Water Damage Help.

Hi guys! I have tiny water damage around the door of my bathroom! Does anyone have experience with this type of stuff... I think I need a cheap but efficient contractor to patch it up and reseal for me.... any suggestions?

Thanks!

Where is the water coming from? A patch and reseal won't do any good if the water keeps coming.

if you use a bath-tub, and if the door is next to the bath tub, maybe it's the leakage of bath-tub...most probably the sealent is too old, or other reason.

if not, maybe there is leakage from pipe installed inside the wall.

There are 2 tests...if your have an access/inspection panel, open it to check if there is water under the tub, if yes.....repair the tub or re-sealed the joint using silicon sealant....

if not...........turn off the main water switch for 2 days........it's annoying but still better than break the wall.....i would do it on friday and go for a short trip..

if no water leakage...you've got the answer......otherwise..no choice but to break the wall..
