HK Service Apartment recommentations - Desperately need advice!

Hi

I'm not having much luck sourcing for a service apartment for 1 mth. Need to find a place by end of may 2006. Please let me know if you have any recommendations. I'm looking:
1) at budget range of HK$15,000 to HK$18,000
2) for a place that is modern and comfortable as well as convenient to get to Hopewell Centre in Wanchai.

I came across Icehouse (LKF area) but the pictures they sent across for the rooms didn't look good. Also sourced out Kapok Apartments at 28 Harbour Rd but was told it's not a good location (seedy) and the apartment isn't good. Also chanced upon the V Apartment in Happy Valley (which looks really nice on the website) www.thev.hk but not sure if it's very far from Hopewell Centre and also Central area.

Does anyone have any knowledge of these service apartments? And would you be able to advise on other options?

Any advice will be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Quirkie

Try looking at moveandstay.com. There is also a place called Bauhina - no idea what it is like but the location is good - close to central and on the tram line so easy to get to Wan Chai. Happy Valley and Causeway Bay are also on the tram line check out ypmap.com for any directions you need.

Stayed at De Fenwicks. Great location but noisy at night.
Also the beds were very uncomfortable...very thin mattresses.

Happy Valley is close to Hopewell Centre in Wan Chai. I can walk there from Happy Valley and there is a tram as well as the bus to Wan Chai.

Flat Share

Hi
I'm moving to HK in a month and would like to find out about arranging a flat share. I have no idea where the best location is, but I will be working near central and would spend around 14,000HKD on rent per month. Looking to find social peops to go out drinking with!
Cheers,
Ned

Thanks guys!

My office folks checked out Kapok Apartments for me and said it's pretty good so I'm going ahead with it.

Thanks for the advice though!

Cheers
