| Philipino Passport Holder in HK HELPPP hi my friend was born in the filipines and has been living in usa most of his life. he does not hold a usa passport , but a filipines passport. he must exit hk every 2 weeks. hk customs is telling him he cannot be doing this. what are his options of staying in hk. can he extend his visa stay in hk? can you please give all available options. thanks. |

| He can try and get a job in HK for a start! Or he can marry a local. those are two options. |

| Any problem with him trying to get a US passport if he's been living there most his life. OK a US passport isn't the best one to have but will give more options than a Filipino passport. |

| What he needs is a sponsor to say they are keeping him and he will live with them. He can then get a one month visa (they seemed to have stopped the 2 month ones) which can be extended at immigration tower with support from the sponsor. Need to find a reason for the extension but anything seems to do. Best option is to get a job, but obviously easier said than done. |
