| | | Regent Heights Serv Apt - Causeway Bay I am confirmed to come to HKG in mid June and my company has told me that I will be provided 1 month service apartment in Regent Heights. DO you guys have experienced this service apartment? Also I am dying to watch World Cup during this time and would like to know whether they can provide it in the apartment.
All your comments are appreciated....
Cheers,

| | | Thanks freeir,
I heard that this serv apt is decent but not much info in the web. Anybody else know whether we can pay extra to get extra channel for world cup in this apartment or even in other service apartment in general.

| | | Hi,
I've just been told by work that they've booked me into Regent Heights for a month when I get back, if I like it then they'll keep me there until the end of the year, I'm on the 10th floor of 12 so think I'm in a deluxe studio which seems to range from 390-470 sq ft.
Javaman, are you there now? What do you think? What's the area like? (I don't care about nightlife there, just wondering if it's quiet and there are some cheap local restaurants nearby)
Thanks | |

| | | Yes I am here in Regent Heights now (3rd fl). It is good place but quite pricey but since it is paid by my company, then it is fine (at least for a month).
It is convinient for me since it is near Indonesian consulate and a lot of Indonesian restaurant (since I am from Indonesia).

By the way, are you able to get the world cup games?

| | | Well, I've been at regent heights for 3 nights now and I've struggled to sleep all 3 nights. Is it usual for apartments in HK that face onto the main street not to have sound-proof windows? All I can hear at night is the rumble of the traffic from causeway road and it's doing my head in. Even ear plugs can't block that deep base sound that buses make.
I'm looking for somewhere else which is quieter, if anyone can recommend a serviced apartment up to about 17.5K a month somewhere quiet (area doesn't matter, HK or Kowloon or further, I work at ifc and can put up with an hour's commute if it means I get a decent night's sleep) then I'd be very grateful
Thanks
