| | | Any other bored housewives (not...)? I'm here visiting from NYC for the month of May, supposedly "relaxing" while my fiance works. I guess I should feel lucky to have the free time, but the weekdays are kind of stretching out before me and I would love to meet others who are free during the day either for lunch, knocking around, shopping, museums, drinks, exploring or whatever. I'm in Central. | |

Theres a few of us in the same boat so maybe we could arrange something. research and talking to the dog is not at all healthy for my mind!

| | | heh, to be honest, i'm not much of a housewife either... good thing we have a serviced apartment!
Maybe lunch on Wednesday, Soho someplace? For whomever wants to join? Jimbo, I'm sure your pooch is a scintillating conversationalist, but I could use the chance to talk to someone who talks back as well.
Housewifery not required.

I'll see who else is around too, so shall we make this thread an official lunch meet on wednesday?

| | Betty,
The American Women's Assn organise loads of activities during the day, and you don't have to be a member to attend some activities. If you're fee tomorrow morning, there's a group that meets at Starbucks in the Hopewell Centre for coffee/chat. The organiser is Heather, a lovely person. Tell her I say hello. Also, there's CHAT on Thurs mornings at the Marriott Hotel. HAve a look at their calendar for details http://www.awa.org.hk/index.php?module=PostCalendar
