if you really knew what you were talking about. most vets i know are as frustrated with the inbred faults in purebreds as you are. most vets are more concerned with animal welfare than with making money out of the suffering of an animal.
you have a vindictive opinion of vets as being money sucking, preying on the weaknesses that are present in a lot of inbred dogs, and loving them for it. thats as bad as saying doctors like kids that are suffering from some disability because the frequent trips to the doc make them money.
if you ask a vet to recommend a breed know for hardiness and free of faults, most will recommend a cross breed, unless YOU are fussy about purebreed.
