It would not happen in Europe. If the British government said to the ethic group's british passport holders that you are not allowed to do this and that....except for the white british, I am sure the government will be brough to the European court for against human rights and discrimination. |
I do have a permanent ID card but not the one with 3 stars because I am not ethnic Chinese.
I have a 3 years multi-entry business visa and I am quite happy with that. Not sure why they have 3 years tourist visa.
I don' t think we can talk about discrimination here because if you are Chinese you do not need a visa to go to China what you need is a re-entry permit (allowing people not from the Mainland to go see their relatives). It is not a visa it looks like an ID card.
It can be difficult for 3rd or 4th generation Chinese to get it if they cannot provide supporting documents it would be the same in Israel AFAIK.
