KIds Moving to HK

HI

I'm moving to HK in about 3 months with 3 girls, (16, 14 & 10), wondered if there was a "safe" forum/chat room for expat kids to use so that some of the many questions : about living in HK could be answered by someone their own age who is already living there. Am aware of risks of chatrooms and certainly my 3 will be carefully monitored as to what they say ! We'll be living in the Pok Fu Lam area

very safe indeed. KIA always makes sure that any nonsense discussions are stopped immediately.

Would like to learn about your moving experience

I am going to move my family (2 kids- 3 years/ 9months respectively) to HK too.

Have you started house hunting yet?
What areas are you looking at?

Smile Kidz in HK

Hi GoEast

We've been here about two months now and loving it. My girls are older, 14 and 10. We are living in Pok Fu Lam at Baguio Villas. It's perfect for us - not plush but slightly older but very spacious. Outdoor pool, which closes over the winter so the facilities aren't a patch on, say Belle Air. We like it because of the size, storage and as it isn't brand new not worrying about of the girls chipping the woodwork etc. We use the pol at the Le Meridian at Cyberport but there are loads of clubs in HK with pools.

Give me a pm if you want to know more about living here, it's our first time abroad so may be able to give you a few does and don'ts.

Regards

Could do something here ... we've got the ability to have closed door forums which are only viewable by pre-approved members.

Drop me a PM or email on feedback@geoexpat.com if you have any ideas or thoughts.
