| I'm very new in HK and not sure where everything is, but when I travel to Repulse Bay (or Stanley via RB) it generally only takes me ~50min from the time I get on the ferry...this could be b/c I'm not travelling at rush hour, but it seems to me that you'd be going against the main flow of traffic once you got off the expressway heading towards the tunnel.
I've met quite a few people in DB that work in Kowloon (an area I'm not very familiar with...he says as though he's familiar with anything in this country) and they take the bus to Tung Chung and then MTR it into Kowloon. I guess you just have to be careful what bus you get on...there was a big wreck when the DB/TC bus collided with a truck the other day...last I heard driver was in a coma and some 20 odd people were taken to hospital (left of the "the"...I'm getting un-Americanized!) |
