| Advice on living in Honkers particularly with my Doggie

My partner and myself will be moving to Honkers in 5 weeks time. Can anybody shed some light on the following questions
1. Is it possible to bring my Pointer? What is accommodation like? Is it dog friendly. She is an inside and outside dog.
2.Where would people recommend us to live (working near Tai Tam - boyfriend at Kowloon)
3. Is Discovery Bay too far out of the way for Tai Tam? How long would it take for us to get to work?
