| Thank you for all your replies. We are happy to take a serviced apartment as it makes it easier for us when we leave and we don't have to buy any furniture. Unfortunately Lamma is a little too far away for us.
We will be attending HKUST so wanted to be living somewhere that would be an easy travel to it and have heard many nice things about Sai Kung.
At the moment its a little like shooting in the dark as I do not know Kowloon well at all so any recommendations on nice areas to live that are within easy reach of HKUST and not too busy are most welcomed.
