Due to the length of the last thread, things were getting confusing for obtaining information. So I figured it would be easier to close that thread and start over here.
So here's where we stand...
The party will be this Saturday, April 22 from 6 pm until 8 pm. There will be 2 pickup points for the trams. The first is at the Whitty Street Tram Depot in the Western District. The 2nd pickup point is at tram stop 29 across from the Sheung Wan MTR Exit B on Des Voeux Road Central. I've created maps for both pickup points (and included a couple of pictures of the Sheung Wan pickup point) and placed them in my Member Photos section (Photos-Gallery-Member Photos-artdude-TramParty). For those of us who will be meeting at the Whitty Street depot, let's get there at 5:45. For those who will be meeting at the MTR Exit, figure that it will take around 10 minutes for the trams to reach you... so it would be advisable to get at that stop at 6. I have to be at the depot (to take care of last minute details with the tram coordinator from HK Tramways), so can someone take care of making sure everyone at that stop is on the same page? Thanks!
This will be a BYOB/BYOF (Bring Your Own Bottle/Bring Your Own Food) affair to keep things simple. So feel free to bring your food and drink of choice.
So far, we have one boom box/CD player for the party. I haven't received any responses yet from anyone else who may have one that we can borrow. So please, let's try to get another one so that we won't have to hear Bubs sing for us!
The cost of the party will be HK$45 per person. Just pay me when you see me on Saturday.
I've hired 2 trams for the party, and we are completely booked up! In fact, we have a waiting list of people who would like to join us, so I'm going to ask everyone to again confirm if you're coming or not (including your guests) so I can update the list I have. Even if you've already confirmed, please do so again! Or I'll have to send Martyn after you with the Attitude Adjust-or! KTK style!
