Hi, I am a college student from California that is planning to go to Hong Kong for a bit over two months from the end of June to the first few days of September and am planning to work as an English/SAT tutor here. Over Christmas, I met with the owner of one of the companies there and he basically said that I could teach there over the summer. However, I am not necessarily guaranteed a job.

My question is how easy is it for me, an ABC who knows some Cantonese to find a job, preferably in the education field, if my original plans fall through? I go to a pretty good school in California and have prior experience tutoring before. I already bought my ticket and am in the process of finding an apartment, so I'm set on going already and am just evaluating backup plans. Thanks alot!
