Thumbs up Best of the Rest

Another cheapy but goody: Wang Fu
98-102 Wellington St., Central
2 shops: the original one with the yellow sign serves basically Beijing Dumplings, and the other across the street serves other (Beijing style) food as well. A favorite with homesick Beijingers. The owner is a retired Chemistry teacher with a thick Beijing accent. She's really got a touch with simple foods that look plain but taste great.

The dumpling skins have gotten a bit soggier over time, but still taste good, but there's so much other good food there, it's worth going back over and over to try them all.
