Dear all here,

I am Austrlian chinese, would like to settle in HK to join my boyfriend who native HK guy. Could any of you give me some suggestions on the possibility to get a job and working permit?

I got my masters degree from Top Australian university, majoring in Actuarial Studies and Information Science ( 2 Degrees ). I would like to find a job in Finance or Insurance industry, but I haven't got any working experience in that field, Since I just graduated in December 2005 from Actuarial Studies.

My working experience came from IT field around 5-6 years ago for about 2 years, and from Marketing field ( hospitality marketing ) in year 2003 and 2004.

I speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese ( not native ), currently on working-holiday visa in HK.

I would like to know, if it is for me to get a job in HK, and hence the working-permit, as I understood as a fresh graduate, it would be very difficult for getting a working - permit with a entry-level job.
