You came to the right place. Drop plays underground hip-hop on Friday night I believe. You'll hear J5 and Slum Village n stuff like that...so I hear anyway. I met the guys who run it a few weeks ago. If you like reggae, there's only one place to go really - Club 97 on Sunday nights. If you guys wanna check it out, I'm definitely down to organize something. Can't really go to Drop cuz I work all day Saturday. Such are the disadvantages of having copious quantities of free time during the week. I like dancehall and drum and bass too.
Oh yeah...this girl I met last night said Dragon I had really good old school NYC house last Saturday. Don't know if it's a regular thing though. Went to Dragon I last night to see DJ Premier...went with two of my friends, both Chinese-American from California (LA and the Bay area).
