ct1 is on a distinguished road
Best Indian in Sydney is Surjits on Parramatta Road in Annandale. The indian cricket team often go there when they are in town...lots of cricket memorabilia and great food. Also Darbar on Glebe Point Road has fantastic food and lovely surrounds.

The Mixing Pot on St Johns Road in Glebe is a great authentic italian restaurant. Definitely lots to chose from in Leicchardt too. Try Porron or Il Porron for great Spanish Food - Paella and Seafood Caserole are great.

Best Japanese has got to be Sushi Bar Rashai also on Parramatta Road in Annandale. Try the Nasu Miso Steaks (Eggplant with Miso Sauce). Oh how I miss this restaurant.

If you want a good pub atmosphere with good Mod Oz food then try the Australian Youth Hotel in Broadway/Glebe area.

For Seafood then you have to try the Sydney Fish Markets in Pyrmont. It gets packed at the weekends so get there just before 12noon in order to get a prized seat on the waterfront. Bring your own wine and sauces (if you want but you can get them there) and cutlery (if you want proper cutlery - otherwise plastic stuff) and ENJOY!

Bronte Beach is probably the nicest place for Breakfast in Sydney. There are a number of places there so take your pick.
