re being a sissy... hey, i ride. i just want to ride in groups. used to do group rides back home, head for 60km ride, stop at a cafe/bakery, refuel, 60km back. not much fun doing that solo.. in saying that, i haven't done much riding in HK.
also, re MTB trails, this would mean i need to get a hardtail bike something i'm not too keen on cos of the weight trade off on the road, and i dont have the room for 2 bikes... so a cross bike it is.. jack of all trades, ace of nothing.
had also seen flyingball... hoping for more suggestions, keep 'em coming...

hey dropded - i just moved to HK a couple months ago - and brought my road bike only to be disappointed that I might never get to take it out of the box! (I AM a sissy riding on these Hong Kong roads) but keen on trying to get out there somewhere. I too am not into mountainbiking and hardly have enough room for my current bike.
Given my fear of having a double decker tailing me while I am riding - my question is how do you get your bike from say the 'urban' zones over to somewhere where the riding is a bit better? I have heard of some riding on off the island - but wonder how to get my bike there?
If you have some ideas, find out any more or are interested in trying to get out there sometime and would like some company - let me know!
