Flavour of India in New South Head Road is probably the cities best. Also consider Zaaffran in Darling Harbour and Bukhara in Double Bay. Breakfast well stick to any of the trendy areas and I'm sure the locals will have their favourites - Bondi, Padington, Woolloomooloo (*for real
