As far as I know, a person on a dependent visa is not permitted to take up any kind of work, not even charity work which does not involve a salary. If you would like your wife to help you with your shop, then speak to Immigration about this and ask if you should apply for a work visa for her. They are pretty good in advising in such matters and it's better to play it safe than get into any visa related issues for your wife. You can call Immigration and they will help with this information over the phone as well. Good Luck. |
