For this reason I do feel a little annoyed at some of my Western friends who without much thought or love protest China (and my multiple entry expires in May).

I talked with a leader of a Christian Human Rights organisation regarding this topic (human rights not visa's). She said a thought commonly reoccurring at the moment for her is 'love for neighbor' and what this means to love both the one you are advocating and the government at the same time - very complicated. I don't think the Western media ever put much thought in this direction which also is a shame.

I think I am one of the few foreigners I know who have (L) China before the MSN nick-name at the moment *haha*.
