1) No "multi entry" visas being issued. Max 2 entry. Being blamed on a computer problem. Which in sync with what someone posted earlier saying that Beijing has essentially turned of the multi-entry type visa on the computer system.

2) US citizens are now being charged HK$ 1050 for their visas, while UK citizens are being charged $450 or something like that ...

All of this makes *SO* much sense ....
Now I'm back in Mi Casa I can report all as reported by KIA is true.

The little darling behind the counter unfortunately did not respond to my sexy eyes and dashingly handsome good looks so I settled on a single entry for my upcoming trip ( HKD450 ) in the hope the " broken comptuer " will be fixed.

HK.Com its a job for you I think. There looks like money to be made !!

The most humorous thing I found was that the girl, whilst explaining " its a technical problem, the computer is broken " spoke whilst cherrying up her lovely face as she realised the Gweilo was on to her from the very start.

Talking to people waiting it seemed most where unaware and to cap it all there are no notices informing you . Quote from the helpers " I don't know anything about it. Ask at the window. Maybe you can. " I parried with " maybe its a timing thing " and received blank looks.

I will talk to some contacts tomorrow at HKTDC to see if they are suiting up Rambo style to get us back what we need as an essential part of doing business here. Otherwise - whats the point of being here.
