Just heard back from Boris (I'll let him post the colorful version of the story).

1) No "multi entry" visas being issued. Max 2 entry. Being blamed on a computer problem. Which in sync with what someone posted earlier saying that Beijing has essentially turned of the multi-entry type visa on the computer system.

2) US citizens are now being charged HK$ 1050 for their visas, while UK citizens are being charged $450 or something like that ...

All of this makes *SO* much sense ....
