Or you could just say, "I don't think intelligent design is a valid scientific form" I don't mock Darwin who actually never formally studied science and one day looked at a bird and looked at a banana and thought, "I wonder if they have a common ancestor". This is wide open to humor.
If I got his science and made it sound like faerie tales (like some intelligent design people do to Darwinism) you would mock me, yet you cannot be academic regarding those who follow lines of evidence in intelligent design theories. The tables seem as balanced as Ben Stein says they are regarding opening scientific dialog.
