We are not bad by nature, we develop our 'badness' according to our environment.
A young child does not differentiate between white and black friends until his society instills an opinion into him. A good white friend of mine was brought up in Africa and one day asked his Mum whether a friend could come over to which has Mum asked him whether said friend was white or black. To this my friend replied 'I don't know, I'll ask him'.
