VegemiteKid is on a distinguished road
Hi, i used to live in Happy Valley/ Causeway Bay and be able to walk to work. It was very 'convenient' - but I never got away from the traffic and congestion and general 'busyness' of HK. A year ago I moved to DB and now catch the ferry and then a bus or train or taxi to the office. There are lots of options. It takes me 1 hour door to door - but I love it and would never move back to HK island. As others have mentioned you can catch up on email, read a book - the ferry ride is quite relaxing. And it is great to come home after a crazy day at work to the peace and tranquility of DB. I can't think of anywhere in HK i would rather live. Good luck with your move.
