| actually in this thread i sort of agree with pdlm.
human, whether the readers in the thread, or the readers of all the thrashy papers in the country, wants extreme story so that they can show their compassionate side of life.
the whole event that i read was painted to lead ppl to think that
- they adopted when they thought they cannot have a baby and then they had two of their own, implying that's the reason they gave up the baby >> but this fact is being challenged. they actually had an older kid of their own.
- they intentionally not taught her dutch so that she will not blend into the family/culture >> which again, according to the diplomat, she speaks dutch.
- that it was a simple case of adopt and abandon >> but with so many experts in the child psychology and medical fields involved, if they did not want it to work they wouldn't have went to all these ppl!
i think we just have to be less emotional until all the facts are out there.
notice how this board are full of ppl that gets green or red squares for commenting on things that are 'so sweet' or 'so kind' etc.
that's just how human think and behave. unfortunately. telling the truth is not always the best thing to do if the truth is not what the mass wants to hear!  |
