Well they said she was still their daughter and they wanted her back, so I guess they view her as one of their own kids anyway. If their version is true it would seem that the papers have got it badly wrong and the couple are owed an apology. I'm not defending the couple if they did dump her, it just seems that actually they didn't and the papers have, as usual, sensationalised a harrowing story to sell copy.
