Wink use fresh milk

A second option is to use fresh milk with the fat content you prefer, if you put all the ingredients in and start the process right away. The point of using dried milk is that is is cheaper and it's for those who want to use the timer option on the bread maker, as fresh milk will sour if left out at room temperature. The manual will call for one to keep the liquid separate from the dried milk powder and yeast to prevent early fermentation. HTH!
