Note that there are other webservers, including commercial software: Zeus being quite powerful and popular for hosting companies, and even commercial management interfaces for Apache: Covalent being quite nice and even offers online training courses.

You often need to integrate with many different external components such as PHP, Ruby (on Rails), Python, Java (Tomcat), etc. Each of these can usually be installed through the Linux distributions package management system: no need to manually download and install like Windows users have to. This is why a RedHat training course is useful.
