Rainie: jedi is right - Immigration Department will look into your qualifications (education/job experience/specialization) to determine whether you are bringing unique skill sets into HK. The sponsor/company will have to show that the position cannot be filled in by someone locally. Even the Philippine companies here prefer hiring those who are already residents as I can imagine having to go through the immigration hoops for newcomers can be quite daunting!
