ThomHK can only hope to improve
I too will be working in Recruitment in Hong Kong. having a number of years in the feild i can say that setting up meetings in many companies is a standard procedure. I know where I am in the UK this is actually a legal precedence, used as a way of preventing identity theft and people cloning CV's. But it will be more than likely a 30 minuite exploratory interview, where the emphesis will be on the 'candidate' themselves ie asking specific questions about 'them' and what 'they' want in a new role. Recruitment in Asia nowadays is very much a candidate lead market and companies are trying to musclue in on the right people for their business.

I would tell your fried there is nothing to fear, if they are a good company they will concerntrate on THEIR needs and find them something they want.

PS. Anyone working in construction looking for a new role. let me know

Kind Regards

Thom
