1. When you sign up online you are given your membership number. If you sign up using the paper forms on board or at check-in then there is a temporary card with your membership number.

2. I don't see how the airline is supposed magically to work out that you took a flight if you don't tell them your membership number. How exactly are you suggesting they do this?

I suggest that the reason you don't benefit from this programme is that you are disorganised and incompetent. I have quite happily earned very nearly 2M AsiaMiles and spent over 1.6M of them.

3. If your complaint isn't worth 3 minutes of your time then it obviously can't be a very serious complaint.

CX's in-flight service seems pretty good to me. It isn't perfect, but I can't think of any service organisation that is.
